HIKING

Two ways of hiking at the Pendleton County Athletic Park. Concrete Sidewalks that weave throughout the park and a nature trail that runs along the Licking River. The Trail along the likcing river is newly named as Barth Johnson South Fork Nature Trail.

Combine the concrete sidewalks and the nature trail to get a looping trail around 2 miles.

The Southern end of the nature trail includes some signage marking different types of trees and plant life.

This is a 3/4 mile loop all concrete and level. This is a great way to get some steps and take in the views of the river and athletic park.

This is a 1.75 mile loop all concrete and mostly level. This is a great way to get some steps and take in the views of the river,  athletic park, fair ground and elementary school.

This is a 2.25 mile loop with dirt trails that run along the river and take advantage of concrete. The trail along the river is not all level. This is a great way to get some steps and take in the close up  views of the river,  athletic park, fair ground and elementary school.
